October 5th

If you are a member of Chi Alpha, we encourage you to tithe towards the group so that we can provide resources to reach the campus. We use the funds for scholarships for students to our retreats, tabling resources, events, and outreach materials. None of the funds go towards the staff.

Large Group doesn't just magically happen. There are so many different things that go into making this all possible. Would you like to serve in some capacity? Do you have a musical talent that could help enhance our time of worship? Are you tech savvy and would like to help with running sound our media? Maybe you just want to be a pair of hands that can set up equipment before service and/or tear it down at the end. Are you really good with social media and want to help promote Chi Alpha? Do you like planning and running fun events? Then take a moment tonight to fill out our volunteer form to let us know.

We'll visit Porter's Patch pumpkin farm on October 17th from 1pm-4pmish to enjoy some fall fun like hayrides and a corn maze, and then you can pick out the perfect pumpkins. Then from 4pm-8pm we'll head to the Bishop's home for carving pumpkins and a delicious chili and cornbread dinner. Costs (please bring your own money to pay for these): $12.32 + tax Farm admission - includes the corn maze, hay ride and other fun activities. The cost of whatever pumpkin you choose. Any extra money for food or snacks. Join us for a fun filled day. Can only make it to part of the event? Just let us know on the event registration page.

Join us on Halloween Night at 6:30pm at Viggo's house for an amazing party! Everyone is highly encouraged to wear a costume (though it is not required) but know there will be a costume contest! There will be games including jeopardy and family feud. Bring something to share. If you are interested in going, please register and then the address to Viggo's house will be provided to you.

If you haven't downloaded the Green Bay XA app yet, tonight is the time to do it as all other announcements can be found there along with all our chat groups, events, and so much more!

In Chi Alpha, we believe in the power of prayer, so we meet multiple times every week to pray as a group. Every Monday from 6-6:30 we meet in the Manistique room before large group, then we have hour long prayer meetings Wednesdays and Thursdays. Wednesdays are prayer walks that start at 4pm and we meet in the first floor of the library behind the sub shop, and Thursdays we meet in the Manistique starting at 3:30. If you’re free at any of those times, stop by and pray with us! Whether you can stay for just 10 minutes or the whole hour, we would love to have you there!

Core groups help people grow in their faith and build community. Our groups take place throughout the week in different locations. We'd love to have you join us!
Core Group Leaders please stand up as we call your names. If you haven't signed up for a Core Group yet, you can do so through our app. See one of our leaders and they will help you get connected.
