Details: If you are a member of Chi Alpha, we encourage you to tithe towards the group so that we can provide resources to reach the campus. We use the funds for scholarships for students to our retreats, tabling resources, events, and outreach materials. TONIGHT because it's missions week, all the money collected will go toward our missionary speaker, Sarah.

Missions Week

Wednesday night at 6:30pm in the Alumni room to hear from Winnie Horvat, a missionary to Croatia
Thursday night at 5:30pm in the 125 Room to hear from Jessica Borntrager a missionary to Dubai
While these missionaries will be sharing during Joint Core Groups, everyone is invited to hear from them, so please come if you are free to be inspired by those that have answered the call to go into all the world. There will be time for Q&A after each one.
Also, each day 12:30-1:30pm we will host Meal with a Missionary: Tuesday and Wednesday in Manistique, and then back in Room 125 on Thursday.

We are offering 3 mission trips this year!
Over Spring Break, March 15th-21st, we will be working with the Assembly of God Church in Oneida to minister to the Native Oneida People. We will be doing door to door canvasing and evangelism, a children's day of ministry, a worship night, and so much more.
Over the summer we will have two options for you to choose from.
Thailand trip will take place May 21st-June 1st. We will minister to the homeless, young adult prisons, redlight district, and minister in elementary schools. On top of that we'll get to experience some fun cultural things like riding elephants.
The other trip will be to a camp in Northern Alaska to work with a teen camp from June 20th-June30th.
There will be an informational meeting at the end of next week's Large Group. If you are interested at all on going on one of these trips, be sure to attend.

FeedONE
Throughout the month of November, we will be raising funds to feed children around the world. $10 feeds a child for an entire month! We are going to be running several campaigns to raise these funds. The first one we want to tell you about is our raffle. For every $10 you donate, you get entered to win a $300 prize of your choice: a Lego set, gaming system, headphones... Our goal this year is to raise $5000.
Here's our big ask, consider feeding a child for an entire year. You can either make a one-time donation of $120, or you can select to donate $10 a month on a recurring basis. And yes, if you select this option, you will get 12 entries to win the raffle prize! Scan our QR Code and make your donation and then show us the confirmation email and we will enter you for the prize.
We will be tabling twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to promote this raffle. There is a sign-up sheet going around right now to work the table. Please help us reach our goal.

You can sign up for 30-minute time slots and as many as you want if there are open spots. We would like 2 people working if possible. Then when you are tabling, from the home page select Resources and you will see a link to FeedONE. We will be producing a video in the media on how to work the table.

Penny Wars
There are buckets for each core group at every large group in November. Putting coins in the buckets is positive points and putting bills in the buckets subtract points. Bring big bills to take the other Core Groups down a notch, and find those rolls of quarters to take your Core Group to the top.
