11 Expectations for Core Group

1. You get as much out of core group as you put into it.
2. What is said here stays here

• If you go deep, we’re not going to tell anyone
• We want to cultivate a safe environment where we can be vulnerable, authentic, and honest with what we’re going through.

3. We want to be your brothers/sisters and have fun together!

• We will plan Life Group hangouts on other days of the week! We want to be your friend, not just a distant acquaintance you talk about God with once a week.
• We want to study with you, workout with you, eat with you, shop with you, and do life together!

4. We want core group to be a place that encourages YOU to read the Bible on your own.

• We want to HELP you understand the Bible for yourself and get excited about the Bible.

5. Core Group is a place where you can ask tough questions.

• Don’t be afraid to ask a question that sounds skeptical or critical. No better place to ask those questions than with people you trust/

6. Healthy things grow

• We want to grow deep together in our faith and invite others to be a part of our family.
• This is not a closed group and there is always room for one more person. Who will fill the empty chair?

7. Core Group is a place where we can LEARN and PRACTICE how to hear God’s voice and understand God’s will for you life.
8. Core Group is a place to be challenged and help each other grow in every area of our life.

• We love you where you are at and love you too much to leave you there.

9. We will respect your time.

• We won’t go too long, but we won’t kick you out either! We will plan to go about an hour to an hour and a half.

10. The rest of the week will be better because you came.

• This will be a great investment of your time
• Even if you can only come for 10 minutes, come and we will pray for you.

11. We are committed to praying for you!

• If you ever need prayer, reach out to us and we will pray for you then and there.
