REVERSE GOSSIP

We will honor one another in person and we will speak highly of one another to others that we encounter. This practice not only shows great honor to those we're talking about, but it serves to build a culture in which each person is honored and valued.

This includes the absence of:

Gossip
Slander
Negative talk
Sarcasm directed toward others

This includes the presence of:

Affirming words
Honoring statements
Uplifting talk

1. Initiate a meaningful conversation with someone from a class.

2. Share your testimony with a friend who hasn't heard it yet.

Be a Doer of the Word

BE DOERS OF THE WORD AND NOT HEARERS ONLY, DECIEVING YOURSELVES. JAMES 1:22

1. Honor 2 people to their face and 2 people behind their back. (If you hear honoring talk - pass it on!)

2. Write a note honoring your Core Group leader and give it to them.

3. Go through the tithing study and answer the questions in the response form.

4. Make a plan to tithe in April (and give above if you would like to). Talk to your Core Group leader about it.

5. Share your "home map" (from last week's reading) with your Core Group leader.
